Completed a major structural masonry rehabilitation in the West side, a longtime family-owned building held by a World War II veteran and his son since the 1970s. Progressive deterioration led led to an outward-leaning front façade. Given the interior plaster cracking, and floor movement within occupied units, the City of Chicago placed violations on this building so the issues could be addressed immediately. In collaboration with Rockey Structures, comprehensive field tests and structural plans were developed to ensure the most effective process was completed. The damages were addressed and reconstructed within the clients budget to bring back the buildings structural integrity all before the clients 100th birthday. We thank him for his service and choosing us to complete this project.
