Route 66
Completed a comprehensive façade rehabilitation for this building on Route 66. This 1966 structure originally constructed with a veneer and metal mesh exterior system was deteriorating over time from prolonged moisture infiltration. After a failed previous repair attempt by another contractor, the building was listed as a full demolition by the Town of Cicero if not repaired in a timely manner. Our team assessed the underlying structural deficiencies and executed extensive stabilization and reconstruction measures to restore the building’s structural integrity and long-term exterior performance.
Scopes of Work:
Façade restoration
Demo exterior wythe rebuild with new brick.
Torched roof repairs on areas where detached
Sand, then apply primer and paint to structural beams
Parging window openings that were not replaced.
