Route 66

Completed a comprehensive façade rehabilitation for this building on Route 66. This 1966 structure originally constructed with a veneer and metal mesh exterior system was deteriorating over time from prolonged moisture infiltration. After a failed previous repair attempt by another contractor, the building was listed as a full demolition by the Town of Cicero if not repaired in a timely manner. Our team assessed the underlying structural deficiencies and executed extensive stabilization and reconstruction measures to restore the building’s structural integrity and long-term exterior performance.

Scopes of Work:

  • Façade restoration

  • Demo exterior wythe rebuild with new brick.

  • Torched roof repairs on areas where detached

  • Sand, then apply primer and paint to structural beams

  • Parging window openings that were not replaced.
