We performed comprehensive masonry repairs on this 1914 structure in South Loop to meet todays standards. Extensive exterior stabilization and structural repairs were completed alongside the guidance of Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, ensuring long-term structural performance while preserving the building’s historic architectural character.

Scopes of Work:

• Façade restoration

• Extensive mortar repointing & lintel repairs

• Preserving the historic terra cotta stones and remanufactured as GFCR

• Demo clay block wall and rebuild with CMU

• Welding on steel beams to adapt new wall

• Removal of fire escape
